Week Four Lakeshore Trip

Well this has been a very busy week. Praise God our home in Massachusetts has sold (or is under contract to sell) and we are finally free to move to Lakeshore. Do is so good, nothing for so long not even a showing then two offers in 48 hours. Thank you for all your prayers in this matter.

So with that happening, I went house shopping, a daunting enough task in its self but made more so because my lovely wife is not here and it’s up to me to pick out the perfect house.  There are a few options and hopefully this week we can explore them fully.

Robert and I continued to dismantle the deck around the Quonset huts. We have

about another 120 square feet of decking to take down then two sets of stairs and a walk way over the mud. This needs to be accomplished this week as the plan is for me to fly home early next week.

In men’s fellowship on Thursday evening (Thanks Mr. James for letting us meet at your house) we made it (read) through the book of Colossians. As always it is a blessing to all.

Today the Lord’s Day service’s theme was “The Persecuted Church”. Pastor Don preached from John 15:18-25. Followed by dinner on the grounds (thanks ladies for the great food) and a presentation by the Morales’s on Voice of the Martyr’s

In addition to today being the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church it is also Veterans Day in America. We pray that every time you see a veteran or serving member of our armed forces you will thank them for the freedoms you enjoy in the USA.

Prayer Requests:

1) Pray we can find suitable housing before I leave for MA

2) Pray that God continues to show us His will for our lives here in MS.

3) Pray for the financial support we need to live in MS.

4) Pray for our armed forces

5) Pray for the persecuted church
